Liberec - a city surrounded by mountains

The nickname "Czech Innsbruck" suits Liberec very well. Just a few minutes ride from the city center, for example by a tram, you will find yourself below the cable car that takes you to the majestic mountain peak Jested (1012 m.n.m.). At the top, there is a well-known television tower. There is also a hotel and restaurant at the bottom of the transmitter. It offers magnificent view of Liberec and Giant Mountains.
In Liberec, you will find many sights and attractions. It could be the local town hall, renowned zoological or botanical garden. The visitor magnet in recent years is also IQ LANDIA, which is a modern science center where both children and adults are entertained by sience. Just opposite this center is another well-known complex of relaxation and fun - Babylon and there is an aquapark with many attractions. Another experience which is not disappointing in any season is relaxing walk around Liberec dam.

Liberec is easily accessible from Harrachov by direct trains, by car it takes less than an hour.
